Completed turns write up to 20 retained snapshots under this generation-specific checkpoint key, but DELETE /api/sessions/:id only removes the session record and never removes this store. Once the session is deleted the key cannot be recreated (it incorporates created_at), so its checkpoints are never reached by later eviction and accumulate permanently; repeatedly creating, running, and deleting sessions can leak substantial gateway-state disk space.
