Summary
The search feature on the Fumadocs documentation site (easyhooon.github.io/dari) is currently non-functional.
Problem
Clicking the search bar or pressing the search shortcut does not return any results. This is likely because Fumadocs' built-in search relies on a server-side API route (/api/search) which is not available in a static export (output: 'export').
Proposed Approach
Switch to a client-side static search solution compatible with output: 'export'. Fumadocs supports Orama for static search, which generates a search index at build time and runs entirely in the browser.
Steps:
- Install
@orama/orama and fumadocs-core static search adapter
- Configure static search index generation in
source.config.ts or next.config.mjs
- Wire up the search provider in
app/layout.tsx
