Thanks for this. Good point. FontAwesome also is dealing with this. Dropping this link here for now and will pick this back up next week: FortAwesome/Font-Awesome#16077 |

I was doing an audit with lighthouse and one of the recommendations to avoid "invisible text" is to add
font-display: swap;to the@font-facedefinitions.https://web.dev/font-display/?utm_source=lighthouse&utm_medium=devtools
I think this PR does that.
