  • move Java components and images to Java 25, Quarkus 3.39.5, Fabric8 7.8.0, and current Maven, logging, testing, webhook, CORS, and packaging configuration
  • update Node and Theia workspaces to Theia 1.74.1, TypeScript 5.9, Vite 8, landing-page React 19, Express 5, Kubernetes client 2, Playwright 1.63, Lerna 10, VSCE 4, webpack, Axios, and UUID 11
  • update Kubernetes, Minikube, Terraform, cert-manager, Keycloak, ingress controllers, providers, demo images, and lockfiles while making HAProxy the default ingress controller
  • pin GitHub Actions to immutable SHAs, refresh Docker actions, use Java 21 for license checks, and refresh package indexes before native dependency installation
  • adapt generated Axios typing, monitor routes, React JSX types, and ESLint configuration for the upgraded stack

Increase timeouts for Keycloak session access e2e tests

Pod cleanup in beforeEach takes about 30s on OpenShift,
so the default 60s test timeout was too tight for the tests that log in twice.
Raise their timeout to 120s and cap the loading animation wait at 60s so it fits in the test budget.

The OpenShift E2E tests work after increasing the timeout from 1 to 2 minutes. It seems the one test's run time was right aroung the previous timeout of 1 minute.

I also started an E2E Run against Microshift 4.22.0-rc.5 (latest 4.x). All tests failed for this: https://github.com/eclipse-theia/theia-cloud/actions/runs/36590723726/
So updating this seems to require additional updates. I don't think we have to do this in this PR but should probably upgrade MicroShift eventually because the currently used version 4.18 uses deprecated K8S version 1.31 (see here)

The Quarkus scaffold Dockerfile.jvm and Dockerfile.legacy-jar still use openjdk-11 as base image. The PR edits a comment in the legacy one but leaves that line.
Looking at all the Dockerfiles in java/service/org.eclipse.theia.cloud.service/src/main/docker, I wonder whether we still use them at all because the Dockerfile to build the service is located in dockerfiles/service.

If we don't use any of these, we might want to remove them.
