Design-level spec for backend/app/market/: PriceUpdate with the session baseline, PriceCache with bounded sparkline history and change-only versioning, the shared ticker validation rule, the MarketDataSource contract, the GBM simulator (correlated draws, deterministic synthesized params, backwards history backfill), the Massive REST poller (nanosecond timestamps, rate-limit-aware backfill and backoff), the factory, and the SSE stream with heartbeats. Includes FastAPI wiring, consumer recipes for the watchlist/trade endpoints, a precise delta from the code currently on disk, a testing plan with runnable examples, and a failure-mode table.
