Describe the Feature

revolt is a discord alternative. i have my own self hosted server. i like to add the bot but it doesnt work

Is this related to a problem?

i thought if i just change line 97 to
if ! [[ $DISCORD_WEBHOOK_URL =~ ^https://revolt.domain.com/bot/ ]]; then
it would work
but i think it need more then just that.

Hey comrade, thanks for creating an issue.

As Revolt doesn't use the any Discord API 1:1, this script won't work for it.

I'll refer to this reply I made about a year ago.

I'm still figuring out a good way to recreate this script into a fully fledged solution with a plugin interface for different notification providers. I'm still learning, so it'll probably take a fair while still. I'm still very open to pull requests in the meanwhile.

Temporary solution?
I'm sure you can throw my moverStatus.sh into an AI, and ask for it to search up-to-date revolt api docs and refactor the script to work with it. It'll probably require some testing (trial-and-error) on your part, but it'll probably work as long as you feed the AI the relevant information, as the original script is just bash.

Apprise was just added to this script. It just so happens to support Revolt.

I tested this method on my stack and confirmed Revolt works (via Apprise)
