Each score is computed with the following formula where S is the scalar, w is the weight for each primitive and k is the base metric for each primitive measurement, which is iterations per second or iterations per joule:
Score=S_suite/(∑p(wp/kp))
First the total joules or seconds per iteration is weighted by frequency of the primitive. This quantity is then inverted so that low energy or seconds results in a higher score. Finally, this value is scaled to a more manageable range. The scalars and weights are all reported in the transcript generated during execution or reloading a session.
