What is the problem this PR solves?
Update go to v1.26.2.
Remove go version from .golangci.yml so that version in go.mod is used.
Set go version in
pkg/api/go.modto 1.25.0 as it is a library and we should follow the go lifecycle for supported versionsThis is an automatic backport of pull request #6800 done by Mergify.
