Hi everyone 👋, I'm Evan Matthews!

📶 Software/Audio Engineer, 🔊 generative audio researcher, and 🎹 composer

What I'm doing:

  • 💼 I'm currently leading development for Seiche, an open-source 3D acoustics simulator. Don't hesitate to reach out to me if you have interest in my work.
  • 🧑‍🎓 I've graduated from UIUC with an MS in Computer Science, and a BS in Computer Science + Music
  • 🔊 My thesis research is focused on improving audio generative models through text prompt recaptioning.
  • 🚲 When I'm not working, you might find me hiking, hammocking, or writing music.
  • ⚡ Fun fact: I'm a fourth-generation UIUC alum!
