This is a course assignment, the purpose is purely educational. The topic is Protein Folding. A protein is a chain of beads. The bond between consecutive beads is spring-like. In addition, each two beads attract each other when they are far apart, and repel each other when they are near, according to the Lennard-Jones potential.
