A technical collection of 102 road-surface reflection tables in the RTable.v1 format for DIALux evo road-lighting calculations.
The repository currently contains 102 RTB files:
R1— 25 filesR2— 25 filesR3— 25 filesR4— 25 filesAdditional_RTables— 2 reference files
A searchable technical index containing all 102 R-Table filenames, Q0 values, S1 values, surface classifications, and direct file links is available here: ➡️ View the Complete R-Table Catalog
Each file contains:
- Format:
RTable.v1 - 29 tan(epsilon) values
- 20 beta angles
- 580 reflection coefficients
- Beta angle range: 0° to 180°
- tan(epsilon) range: 0 to 12
File naming format:
RST_Rx_Mx_Sx_###.RTB
Example:
RST_R3_M3_S2_068.RTB
Intended Applications
The files can be used for:
- DIALux evo road-lighting calculations
- Road-surface reflection analysis
- Luminance and uniformity comparison
- Pavement-condition sensitivity studies
- Preliminary lighting-design evaluation
Installation in DIALux evo:
- Download the required .RTB file.
- Attache it to the DIALux evo and restart.
- Open the road-lighting calculation settings.
- Select the required road-surface reflection table.
- Verify the selected surface name and Q0 value in the calculation report.
Technical Notice: These files are parameterized engineering datasets intended for simulation, comparison, and research use.
They are not a substitute for project-specific road-surface measurements. Final lighting designs should be validated against actual pavement conditions and applicable project requirements.
