Refactor of manual entry controls, and adds an InfoBar with a reason why input can not be accepted.
This is intended to provide a better usability experience - currently a user could enter values in to this field but it would appear to do nothing - there would be no real explanation to the user as to what was going on, or why the values they were entering were not being accepted or processed. This change disables the controls completely when no data could be accepted or processed.
It is also the start of work in making these controls use more common code.
This version is currently based on a working branch containing all ready development branches.
