77-85: 📐 Maintainability & Code Quality | 🔵 Trivial | ⚡ Quick winMake the keyboard seek test assert a real result.
The test only checks that the slider is still in the document. That assertion passes even if
handleKeyDowndoes nothing. Assert the newaria-valuetextoraria-valuenowinstead. WithtotalDuration=23, the step isMath.min(5, Math.max(1, 1.15))= 1.15s, soaria-valuetextbecomes0:01.✅ Proposed fix
const slider = screen.getByRole('slider'); fireEvent.keyDown(slider, { key: 'ArrowRight' }); - // Advances time - expect(slider).toBeInTheDocument(); + expect(slider).toHaveAttribute('aria-valuetext', '0:01'); + expect(slider).toHaveAttribute('aria-valuenow', '5');🤖 Prompt for AI Agents

- Around line 373-410: Update the display-mode condition in the take-selection
logic so both verse and chapter modes use the branch that gathers verse and
covering pericope takes. Keep the pericope-only flattening behavior exclusive to
pericope mode.
- Around line 701-705: Update canResolveAsDraft in the AudioReviewPage
take-rendering flow to exclude takes sourced from covering pericope recordings,
so “Select as Draft” is available only for takes belonging to the conflicted
verse recording. Use a reliable source indicator for this distinction while
preserving the existing conflict and active-take checks.
- Around line 346-353: Update the `useStitchedAudio` call to use
`selectedPassage?.verseNumbers` with a stable module-level empty array fallback,
rather than reading `effectivePassage.verseNumbers` when no passage exists. Keep
the fallback array stable across renders.
Review comments at @src/features/audio/components/StitchedAudioPlayer.tsx:
- Around line 401-404: In StitchedAudioPlayer, translate the raw skipped.reason
enum before passing it to the verseNotIncluded translation. Map conflict and no
recording to separate translation keys, preserving the existing translated
sentence and verse number.
- Around line 69-77: In StitchedAudioPlayer’s tracks-change effects, reset the
current track index and ref, current time, playing state, and loading state so
player state does not carry over between track lists. Guard the audio.src
initialization effect against a missing track before accessing
track.downloadUrl.

Thanks @Joel-Joseph-George. Stitched playback in the review page works well, and the CodeRabbit findings are all resolved in 38fffbd. pnpm precheck passes locally (1842 tests).
These items block merge for me:
- The persistent pericope player isn't wired up. #554 asks to "play the same stitched recording from the persistent pericope player when the pericope the player is tied to has only per-verse recordings." This PR only changes
src/features/audio/;DraftingGridPericopeandTtsGroupControlsare untouched. Please implement it here, or split it into a follow-up issue and changeCloses #554toPart of #554. - Stitched playback resets on every audio refetch. The new
[tracks]reset effect stops playback each timeuseChapterAudiorefetches (every 10 min, for new R2 URLs). Details are inline. - Most pericope-recording paths depend on fields the backend doesn't send yet (
granularity,isPericope, pericopeRange). Your issue comment says that support is still pending. Until it lands, verse-view pericope takes, the "Conflict in pericope vv. X-Y" indicator and the conflicted-pericope suppression can't trigger. Please note this in the PR description, and keep #554 open (or open a follow-up) so those paths get tested against real data.
Non-blocking:
- i18n: none of the new keys are in
public/locales/{en,hi}/common.json, so Hindi users see English. The cross-view banner is also built from three keys (…Lead+switchTo…View+toResolveIt), so translators can't reorder it. Consider one key with<Trans>around the link. - Shared player reuse:
StitchedAudioPlayercopies most ofAudioPlayer: claim/release,handleKeyDown,handleSeek, the waveform markup andWAVEFORM_HEIGHTS.docs/features/audio-playback/design.md§15 says audio review keeps a lightweight take player and leaves sequenced playback to the shared player. Please either reuse the shared pieces or add a note to the design doc. Also add the new component and hook todocs/code-map.md(audio section). - Unrequested changes: the page-level display-mode override (10be565), the "Played as one recording" subtitle, and the removed green "resolved" row style. These are fine if intended, but please mention them in the description so QA knows.
- Unused API: the
onPlay,onPauseandaccentColorprops onStitchedAudioPlayerare never passed.startVerse, endVerseandpericopeNumberonVerseAudioRecordingare never read. Please drop them until something needs them.
