Project Description

The sushi-static project is a website developed to showcase a static and responsive design using HTML and CSS. It serves as my learning exercise to practice implementing various web development techniques and concepts.

Skills Demonstrated

Throughout the project, the following skills were practiced and demonstrated:

  • Use of CSS variables to easily update and manage common styles
  • Importing CSS files into other CSS files for modularity and organization
  • Utilizing flexbox and position properties in CSS for flexible and responsive layouts
  • Creating smooth and subtle animations to enhance user experience
  • Applying the BEM (Block, Element, Modifier) naming methodology for CSS class naming conventions
  • Maintaining a well-organized file and folder structure for efficient development and maintenance
  • Embracing the principles of writing clean code, including readability, maintainability, and scalability
