Stop buffering audio

Hi @fdambrosio i have one problem maybe you can help me with it. I use your ionic media controls for internet radio stream. When i press Stop button audio stream stops but in network tab inside console debugger stream is still loading. Is there any solution to completely stop streaming? Thank you.

hi @savkelita , do you mean the 'pause' button?
if you need to stop stream loading you have to use:

my_media.stop();
my_media.release();

instead of my_media.pause();

@fdambrosio I mean 'stop' button. I get the same result as you can see in the picture in the previous post. After media.stop(), stream is loading in background.

Hi @fdambrosio, I’ve opened PR #4 to address this. It fixes the stop buffering issue by completely stopping the audio stream when Stop is pressed, so the stream no longer keeps loading in the network tab. Thanks!
