Bemovi, software for extracting BEhaviour and MOrphology from VIdeos.

This version of BEMOVI (master; Emanuel A. Fronhofer, March 2017) is based on the originally published master branch. It includes a new function called "summarize_populations()" that generates a table with population (sample) level summaries of movement and morphology as well as an estimate of the population density. It also includes a modified version of the "create_overlays()" function that now takes "trajectory.data" as an argument. This allows the user to choose whether overlays are created from the raw or the filtered trajectory data (before raw was the default).

For the original paper see: Pennekamp, F.; Schtickzelle, N. & Petchey, O. L. BEMOVI, software for extracting behavior and morphology from videos, illustrated with analyses of microbes Ecol. Evol., Cold Spring Harbor Labs Journals, 2015, 5, 2584-2595. https://dx.doi.org/10.1002/ece3.1529

A detailed description how to install BEMOVI and its dependencies, as well as a worked example similar to the illustration in the article introducing BEMOVI can be found here: http://bemovi.info
