Half 2 of the rename — pairs with firecrawl/cli#205. The family isn't just CLI skills: it's the Firecrawl primitives (scrape, search, crawl, map, interact) used via the CLI or MCP, plus the research/developer index skills. core also matches the language the cli repo already uses ("core CLI skills", "installs core/build skills").

  • git mv skills/cli skills/core (content kept in-tree so the plugin manifests never point at a missing directory; the next sync from firecrawl/cli overwrites it identically)
  • Updated the 12 ./skills/cli/... paths in .claude-plugin/plugin.json, plus .codex-plugin/ and .cursor-plugin/ manifests
  • Updated README/AGENTS.md/CLAUDE.md paths and category wording (docs/skills-structure-recommendation.md left as-is — it's the historical migration plan)
  • Bonus: removed a committed Syncthing conflict artifact in docs/ (duplicate of setup-sync-keys-promptv2.md)

Merge order: firecrawl/cli#205 first, wait for its "Sync core skills to catalog" run to land, then this. Install slugs are name-based, so npx skills add and firecrawl init are unaffected throughout.

The family isn't just CLI skills — it covers the Firecrawl primitives
(scrape, search, crawl, map, interact) whether used via the CLI or MCP.
Renamed the catalog directory and updated plugin manifests and docs.
Pairs with the firecrawl/cli PR that points the sync workflow at
skills/core/; installs are name-based so install slugs are unaffected.
