Mutation-test the sync's delete code for real (#75) - #82
Conversation
RemoveExcludedContent, CleanupOrphans and their helpers move unchanged to StrmSyncService.Cleanup.cs, a partial of the same class. The only edit to StrmSyncService.cs is the partial keyword. This is for the mutation tests (issue #75): Stryker could not compile its changes to the whole of StrmSyncService.cs and fell back to counting every mutant there as a compile error, and a line range into that file went stale whenever code was added above the delete methods. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com>
The mutation job reported 95% and passed, but that came from StrmOwnership.cs alone: every mutant in the delete methods was a compile error. Stryker now mutates StrmSyncService.Cleanup.cs as a whole file. Its first real run scored 59.75%, below the 75% break. OrphanCleanupBoundaryTests covers what no test was checking: threshold 0 turning the guard off, the 10-file limit, a ratio equal to the threshold, removing emptied movie/season/show folders while keeping folders with other files, and the deleted count (which also decides whether Emby is told the library changed). Logger calls are skipped through ignore-methods. Score is now 77.6%; the mutants that survive on purpose are listed at the top of the file. check-delete-sites.py no longer checks a line range. It requires every delete call of the sync service to be in StrmSyncService.Cleanup.cs and that file to be in Stryker's mutate list. - Line 125: Replace the suffix-based checks in the cleanup-file validation with
Stryker-compatible glob matching over the complete mutate pattern set, applying
exclusions so a later matching exclusion rejects the cleanup file. Add a
self-test for the cleanup file included alongside a broad `!**/Service/*.cs`
exclusion and assert that it is rejected.

CodeRabbit review of 58f777b noted that a broad exclusion like !**/Service/*.cs would suppress the cleanup file's mutations even when the cleanup file is also listed as an inclusion. The previous suffix check missed this because PurePosixPath.match and fnmatch both get ** wrong. Translate the mutate globs into a regex that lets ** cross / and apply both inclusion and exclusion globs the way Stryker does.

Round-3 review on PR #82 noted that re.escape turned bracket-class globs into literals, so an exclusion like **/Service/*.[cC]s no longer matched the cleanup file. Add a DotNet.Glob-compatible bracket-class translator and skip the trailing i += 1 so the character following the class is still consumed. Stryker's mutate list also accepts leading ! and ^ inside the class as negation, which the translator now mirrors.

From review of #82: the guard only checked where delete calls are. CleanupOrphans could move back to StrmSyncService.cs and call a delete helper left in the cleanup file, and Stryker would stop mutating the code that decides what gets deleted without the check noticing. The guard now also requires RemoveExcludedContent, CleanupOrphans and their helpers to be defined in StrmSyncService.Cleanup.cs and nowhere else in the service. Self-tests cover a method moved back, a method missing, and a plain call from the main file (still allowed). Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com>

…counts fixes Takes upstream's batch firestaerter3#72-firestaerter3#82. Four of its features started in this fork and came back (F007 as their ADR-018, the library refresh, the specials fix, the empty-episode retry), so taking their structure for those shrinks what this fork carries. Taken: one DLL for Emby 4.9 and 4.10 (ADR-017), published under both names; failed series retried through the normal series sync (ADR-020), which removes this fork's own retry layout and the duplicate episodes it wrote; honest written counts for movies; Danger Zone and category-load fixes; excluded-content removal postponed when a category failed to load; the library refresh after a retry or a failed sync; the delete code moved to StrmSyncService.Cleanup.cs under mutation testing. Hand-merged, because a move-plus-modify loses edits silently: - CleanupOrphans and RemoveExcludedContent arrived as upstream's versions in the new file. Restored this fork's deleted-path record (ADR-F005 mechanism 2) and the kept-folder count and explanation; the folder protection itself is upstream's refactor, which walks every ancestor. - Four fork delete paths (snapshot, rollback and deletion-record pruning, the episode filename migration) moved into Cleanup.cs, as upstream's guard now requires, so they fall under the same mutation gate. - Both sides added NotifyEmbyLibraryChanged; kept upstream's. - The review gate stays ahead of the new force-through flag, which bypasses only the two skip paths, and held series are excluded from the new "no stored episode list" warning, which would otherwise flag every one. Deliberately not taken: - CurrentStrmNamingVersion stays 1. Upstream's bump forces a full re-sync to rewrite misplaced specials; the fix shipped here in 1.1.1, so it would re-fetch every title for nothing. - The empty-episode retry keeps this fork's attempt count and backoff, inside upstream's GetSeriesDetailAsync structure. Also fixes upstream's misplaced doc comment on CheckAndUpgradeNamingVersion, and updates build-dedupe.sh: no separate 4.10 DLL, plus the release's load check against both SDKs.
