Code of conduct

Our standard

Foundation Machines is committed to a respectful, professional environment for everyone who contributes to or uses our projects, regardless of background, experience level, or identity.

We expect contributors to:

  • Be respectful and constructive in discussions.
  • Assume good faith and ask before assuming intent.
  • Focus criticism on ideas and code, not people.
  • Accept constructive feedback gracefully.

We will not tolerate:

  • Harassment, discrimination, or personal attacks.
  • Sustained disruption of discussions or reviews.
  • Sharing private information without consent.
  • Conduct that would reasonably be considered inappropriate in a professional setting.

Scope

This applies to all spaces operated by Foundation Machines: GitHub repositories, issue trackers, pull requests, discussions, and any official communication channels.

Enforcement

Report concerns to hello@foundationmachines.com with the subject line [conduct]. Reports are reviewed by a maintainer who is not the subject of the report. Possible outcomes include a private warning, a public warning, a temporary ban, or a permanent ban from the organization's projects.

This policy is adapted from the Contributor Covenant 2.1.
