This repository is dedicated to collecting and tracking feature requests for Fractal Bitcoin.
It serves builders, developers, ecosystem contributors, and users who want to propose improvements to Fractal’s tools, infrastructure, and product experience.
If you have an idea that could improve usability, developer experience, integrations, or ecosystem growth — this is the place to share it.
👉 Please submit your request directly on the Issues page:
https://github.com/fractal-bitcoin/fractal-feature-requests/issues
Keep it simple. Open an issue and describe your idea clearly.
This repository is intended for:
- Developer tooling improvements
- API or SDK enhancements
- Wallet, explorer, or UX improvements
- Indexing and infrastructure usability feedback
- Ecosystem integration ideas
- General feature suggestions that improve the Fractal builder ecosystem
Both developer-facing and user-facing improvements are welcome.
- Bug reports (please submit to the relevant repository)
- Security disclosures (contact the team via Twitter/Telegram/Email)
- Formal protocol changes (submit via the FIP repository: https://github.com/fractal-bitcoin/fips)
No complex template required. A clear issue is enough.
Helpful structure:
- What problem are you expecting to solve?
- Who does it benefit? (builders, users, node operators, etc.)
- What change or feature do you suggest?
- Any references or examples?
Clear and practical suggestions are easier to evaluate and prioritize.
- Issues are reviewed periodically by the Fractal Team.
- Some requests may be adopted into the roadmap.
- Some may require further discussion.
- Some may not be prioritized.
Fractal prioritizes features that:
- Strengthen ecosystem interoperability & sustainable growth
- Improve long-term technical integrity & developer experience
Fractal aims to extend the boundary of Bitcoin technology while remaining aligned with Bitcoin’s core principles.
We value:
- Practicality over hype
- Clarity over complexity
- Long-term sustainability over short-term trends
Thoughtful, technically grounded proposals are always welcome.
