Tikz Editor does not seem to be working properly on macOS 11.1 (Big Sur). Here is what happens:
After starting T-E The following code appears in the editor window:
\end{tikzpicture}
\end{tikzpicture}
\end{tikzpicture}
When I typed: \draw (0,0) -- (1,1); the graphic was updated, but the new code did not appear in the window. it still only had three "\end{tikzpicture}" on the screen.
When I click in the code window, each type I press "return", there is an additional \end{tikzpicture} line in the display.
Any chance you could look into this?
