Prepare the first integrated alpha distribution containing the hardware-tested optional CUDA engines, existing CPU real-model and game APIs, and the full-brain experiment tooling. Version metadata and current documentation now agree on 0.5.0a1; older CPU-only releases and unimplemented WASM remain explicit.
Fix source packaging to include the validation JSON, XML, CSV and text files referenced by reports. Generated demo requirements will resolve to the 0.5.0a1 tag when published.
Validation: 201 local tests passed, 17 CUDA-only cases skipped on this Mac; prior pinned hardware source passed all 217 tests with zero skips. All 67 unchanged files from that hardware source match; the only differences are the version string and an additional mirrored-world CPU test. A clean Python 3.12 wheel installation with only NumPy passed toy/real checkpoint continuation, a fresh verified model download, offline cache reuse, corrupt-cache rejection, clear CUDA-unavailable handling and synaptic in-flight replay. Its generated demo ran 50 frames with verified feedback replay. Final wheel payload matches the installed package file-for-file, and all 54 documentation files are present with matching contents in the final source archive.
This release PR is stacked on #6. Merge it only after #6 and the release checks pass. The release tag, published assets, post-tag generated-project installation and live site verification remain final publication steps.
