Fullbleed 2.5.6's TrueType subsets retain character mappings, glyph names, and metrics for unused glyphs. This change compacts that metadata while keeping original glyph IDs, used outlines/instructions, composite components, advances, and font notices. It also updates the dependent horizontal-header extrema. Unsupported character-map formats retain their original data, and larger rewrites fall back to the source map.
The installed final 2.5.7 wheel reduced the shared invoice from 52,553 to 12,032 bytes. Nine fixtures retained identical text, page counts, PDFium pixels, and native previews against a public 2.5.6 installation. Independent FontTools checks cover the embedded programs. The invoice and statement goldens shrink with identical pixels; the menu is unchanged. These are fixture-specific size results, not a new throughput or conformance claim. The published three-renderer comparison remains unchanged.
The patch adds bounded-input regression tests and installs the independent checks in Linux/Windows CI and release validation. Release metadata is synchronized at 2.5.7, agent artifacts were regenerated from the installed wheel, and only the two reviewed PDF golden hashes change. No runtime dependency or rendering API changes.
Validation passed: 13 focused Rust tests, 1,315 default Rust tests, 1,316 tests with Python/SVG features, 497 Python tests, 36 styled-text fixtures, nine font fixtures, and all three golden documents. The final wheel passes installed-package smoke and generated-contract checks; the sdist and bundled Skill validate. Final CI passes on Windows and Linux, including Python 3.10?3.14 compatibility, packaged-crate MSRV checks, and the external profile gate. The CI font artifacts reproduce all nine local PDF sizes, and the raw profile reports are retained. The optional dedicated PDF/VT job is unconfigured and skipped; this is not a dedicated PDF/VT conformance claim.
