…rights to VARDR Partners The author (Frank Speiser, copyright holder) is retaining commercial rights to crosscheck-agent. Going forward, the software is source-available under the PolyForm Noncommercial License 1.0.0 — non-commercial use is permitted (personal, research, internal eval, qualifying non-profit / educational / government orgs); commercial use requires a separate license. The MIT grant on historical snapshots (through commit 7b54d80) remains in effect for anyone who obtained the software while it was MIT- licensed. This relicense governs all subsequent commits. Changes: - LICENSE: replaced verbatim MIT text with the verbatim PolyForm Noncommercial 1.0.0 text from polyformproject.org, prefixed with the copyright header + commercial-licensing pointer, and a footer noting the prior MIT history. - COMMERCIAL-LICENSES.md (new): records pre-existing commercial license grants. Seeded with a perpetual-unless-revoked grant to VARDR Partners + its subsidiaries — revocable by the copyright holder at any time with or without cause via email notice OR a commit removing / amending the section. Includes a 90-day commercial-use wind-down on revocation; sublicenses already issued continue to their existing terms but no new sublicenses post-revocation. - README.md: updated the License section to explain the new model in plain English, point to COMMERCIAL-LICENSES.md, and document the prior-MIT history.
