Critical Alerts for Errors (Feature Request)

It would be nice for the app to send critical notifications (Types of notifications that bypass DnD and silent mode), for any print failures so I could easily take action. I usually have my phone on silent.

Could be optional of course for users.

Great idea @Lavasteam-Ariz . I followed the process and completed a form. Waiting on Apple now to approve this request. I will update this ticket once we got the answer.

@gdombiak - Did Apple ever grant you the critical notification entitlement for OctoPod? Apple is a bit strict on this, but at least the thermal runaway type alerts should meet the criteria (though I would also like to have it for print completions).

I made the request but unfortunately Apply declined it so we won't be able to add this cool feature. :(

Maybe using a Focus mode that allows OctoPod to display notifications may be a workaround?

That's too bad. :-( I will play around with Focus settings / app exceptions to see if I can find a good compromise.
