The shipper's rule was "nothing that describes the work", which kept branch local alongside titles. Seeing the shared fleet without it made the tradeoff concrete: a branch name is far less than a prompt, and it answers a question the shared view could not — what ran on release/2.4.

  • Branch now travels. AGENTLENS_SHIP_BRANCH=0 holds it back for anyone whose branch names say more than they want shared.
  • Titles are unchanged: still local unless AGENTLENS_SHIP_TITLES=1.
  • The receiver needed an explicit branch on upsertSession, since a branch normally comes from reading .git/HEAD and the shared server has no working directory to read.
  • Ingest bounds it at 200 characters and ignores a non-string value, on the principle that everything crossing that endpoint is untrusted.

89 tests pass, including one that a branch survives the trip and one that the opt-out works.

The shipper's rule was "nothing that describes the work", which kept branch
local with titles. A branch name is far less than a prompt and answers what
the shared fleet could not: what ran on release/2.4. It ships now, with
AGENTLENS_SHIP_BRANCH=0 for anyone whose branch names say too much.

The receiver needed an explicit branch on upsertSession, since a branch
normally comes from reading .git/HEAD and the shared server has no working
directory to read. Ingest bounds it at 200 characters and ignores a
non-string, since everything crossing that endpoint is untrusted.
