Summary

Prepare GeniaFirewall as an approachable bilingual open-source Windows firewall project for end users, testers and contributors.

Repository presentation

• English and Russian README with an anonymized illustrative product overview.
• Accurate release distinction: 0.7.3 Stable vs 0.7.4 RC test candidate.
• Backend comparison, app policy modes, architecture and quick-start.
• Community onboarding: TESTING (EN/RU), CONTRIBUTING (EN/RU), roadmap, support, code of conduct, and Issue/PR templates.

Real UI screenshot gallery (added)

• Six original PNG screenshots edited only for redaction, not AI-generated UI mockups.
• Main window, General (English and Auto), Firewall, Diagnostics and GeniaLink access prompt.
• Real RC3 developer/testing interface; 0.7.4 RC3 is not 0.7.3 Stable.
• Sensitive network endpoints, local paths, adapter metadata and transient process IDs were replaced or hidden. Application list and rule statuses still reflect the test environment.
• Screenshots / Скриншоты is linked from both English and Russian README.
• Exact Git image blobs were verified and gallery relative links resolve on the PR branch.

New bilingual user guides

• Install, first launch and safe removal (EN) / RU. Explicitly separates the 0.7.3 manual service installer from 0.7.4 RC embedded service flow.
• How WFP works (EN) / RU.
• VPN/TUN/LAN scenarios (EN) / RU.
• Security model (EN) / RU.
• FAQ (EN) / RU.
• Troubleshooting (EN) / RU.
• Real screenshot gallery; six redacted original PNG screenshots are committed.
• Privacy and signing policies plus license notices, replacing previously broken README links.

Boundaries

Documentation/community files only. No changes to executable code, WFP filters, service behavior, binaries, release tags, or PR #1. RC3 is not reclassified as Stable.

Verification

• Local README relative links verified against the branch tree; none missing.
• CI and CodeQL will run as PR checks after this update.
• Please review textual claims about the release-specific service installation/removal before merging.

Add the policy documents before linking them

These three repository-relative links are broken: PRIVACY.md, CODE_SIGNING_POLICY.md, and THIRD_PARTY_NOTICES/README.md do not exist anywhere in the reviewed tree (the privacy link is also used earlier on line 124, and all links are mirrored in README_RU.md). Visitors therefore receive 404s for several prominently advertised project policies; add the documents in this commit or remove the links until they exist.
