What And Why

The updated GenVM manager requires flat fee allocation inputs instead of recursive children. Re-vendor its fee types and supply checked direct-child budgets plus host-encoded FlatArrays subtree bytes before execution

Preserve original allocation budgets, the matched root, descendant ordering, rebased parent indices and committed fee-parameter bytes. Open and external allocations carry zero child budgets and empty payloads. Reject malformed parents and child-budget overflow

Pin GenVM v0.6.0-rc7, the release cut from genvm-manager#45 head. It is 6 commits past fa02df08, the revision used for local Docker validation; none of them change the ABI or fee codegen data

Delivery Context

Depends-On: genlayerlabs/genvm-manager#45

Single commit based on v0.123-dev at cf377a9

Testing Done

  • Full unit suite on the rc7 pin: 1,633 passed and 7 skipped, including the release-tag check
  • Docker database tests: 2 passed, covering GenVM callbacks and concurrent fee top-ups
  • Gasless deployment/read/write and cross-executor tests: 8 passed and 1 existing expected failure for an unpinned legacy-to-current synchronous call
  • Standard-price cross-executor messages and nested factory deployment: 3 passed
  • All 5 Studio images built; backend health, frontend and explorer returned HTTP 200 with the pinned runtime
  • Black, backend Ruff, whitespace checks, independent code review and all repository pre-commit hooks passed (full hook run in an isolated checkout)

User-Facing Release Notes

Prepare Studio for GenVM's updated message-fee allocation interface, preserving descendant funding and encoded allocation payloads

GenVM v0.6.0-rc7 ships executor v0.3.0-rc9; the missing v0.3.0-rc7 directory left the pinned deploy stuck in PROPOSING

Approved for the flat GenVM allocation-input adaptation at 41c5c68. The direct-child budget and encoded-subtree paths match the new interface in this diff.

Studio's consensus-admission parity gaps need separate follow-up. Release qualification also needs a composed stack with consensus #1749.
