One tool writes the project's look through applySettingsPatch: background, frame, format (Original shapes included), camera layout, cursor, autoFocusAll and audioGainDb, with the pane's own side effects. Bounds come from SETTING_BOUNDS and wallpapers from parseStylePresetWallpaper. getCurrentDocument reads it back in the same shape, with the options on offer and why each hidden setting is inert. setAspectRatio becomes an alias.
