setProjectInfo, importMedia and removeMedia run in the tool runner like any edit, so the project open in the editor changes there live, and openscreen mcp forwards them to the running app. createProject is a media tool, empty or from a video, and returns a checkpoint as stopRecording does. Deleting a project stays out on purpose. Part of #1180

Batch E of #1180: an MCP client can now manage a project's name and media, and create a project.
setProjectInforenames the project (project.title, trimmed and never empty, as the editor's name field commits it).importMediaadds a video or audio file to the project's media, through the same change asDocumentService.addAsset(documentWithAsset, now shared). The path must be absolute, exist and have a supported extension. The file is measured with the hidden-window probe before the project is read; a probe failure is not fatal, as in the editor. In the app, the file is granted to the renderer so the editor can play it.removeMediaremoves an asset withDocumentService.removeAsset's own change (documentWithoutAsset), but refuses while a clip or audio track still uses it, naming them.createProject(a media tool) creates an empty project or one from a video file, throughDocumentService.createProject, so it takes the preset for new projects as the editor's New does. It returns a checkpoint, asstopRecordingdoes.Routing. The three project tools run in the shared tool runner like any document edit. The project open in the editor changes there live, as one undo step. Any other project needs a checkpoint first. MCP edits gates them. The app's channel serves them, so
openscreen mcpforwards them to the running app. A lost answer is never re-run locally.Docs. The tool descriptions,
