Problem

Embeddable cost dashboard — drop <VeloxCostDashboard customerId={…} /> into your app and end users see..
I'm guessing the js-sdk does not exist yet? However, It would be great to be to allow a realtime credit balance/wallet view for plans which mimic a more pay-as-you-go type model.

Fair catch on that README line — at the time it promised a component that didn't exist. It's been rewritten since and now says plainly that the embeddable widget is roadmap, not shipped.

What exists today: each customer has a token-authenticated public JSON endpoint (GET /v1/public/cost-dashboard/{token}) with usage, cost and a projected bill — that's what the shared cost dashboard renders. It doesn't carry credit balance yet. On the operator API there's GET /v1/credits/balance/{customer_id}, so your backend can read the balance and render a wallet view yourself in the meantime.

Adding balance (and probably commit drawdown) to that public payload is the natural first step toward what you're describing — keeping this open to track it.
