Learning about releases
I didn't follow any good coding techniques in the lead-up to this release - no testing, not even manually testing bits in Maya in many cases, piles of bugs, I lost some code in a git reset --hard at one point and had to track down remnants elsewhere. Sigh... deadlines. I'll do a thorough cleanup soon.
I'm only making this release to learn a bit about releasing/releases on github.
