Bootstrapping

Since the codebase reflects itself to build useful metadata (documented options and attributes), it needs to be built twice before it can be used in other projects.

  1. Rebuild the solution
  2. Run the resultant Reflector.exe file in its directory
  3. Rebuild the solution again

If you get errors during compilation, make sure you're REBUILDING the solution (as in, clean and build), and remove all files named Options.h.mirror from the reflector project directory.

If you don't bootstrap the executable, it will return an error when trying to run it on other projects.

To run the bootstrapping process from the beginning, delete the generated Options.h.mirror file in the solution directory and rebuild. You can also delete the generated Reflection directory if you want it 100% clean.
