Keep startup and account switching responsive with multiple saved accounts

User impact

With six saved accounts, the public Windows app can feel frozen for several seconds after opening. A switch attempted during startup may report that another GSwitch operation is running, and a completed switch can feel substantially slower than expected.

Work already merged

PR #128 merged startup and switch-path changes into main: background quota reads no longer hold the credential-operation lock while waiting for the provider, saved secrets load in one vault session, unchanged switch writes are skipped, and a verified switch updates the visible identity without a full workspace reload. These code changes have not yet been delivered in a public installer.

Acceptance

• On the public v1.0.10 Windows installer, the saved-account workspace appears without the reported startup freeze.
• An account switch can begin while startup quota refresh is still pending; it does not show a spurious operation-busy message.
• A verified switch updates the toolbar and active card promptly, without a full workspace reload.
• The maintainer confirms the installed app feels responsive for the six-account workflow. No stopwatch or version-by-version reproduction is required.

Keep this issue open until the public installer has been used. Link the exact release and maintainer feedback before closing.

The responsiveness changes in PR #128 are present in main, and the v1.0.10 frontend follow-up PR #130 merged at f81bd8dfd8487c9813bd8a2323b19b732928f204. The exact merged-main CI and CodeQL runs passed. A public Windows v1.0.10 installer is still needed for the maintainer to confirm startup behavior, switching during background quota refresh, and perceived switch responsiveness. This Issue remains open until that product feedback arrives.
