A quota refresh failure now leaves one warning beside the first quota title instead of a stale badge and repeated explanation lines. Cached percentages remain labeled “Last” with muted meters and no reset countdown. Hover, keyboard focus, or click opens the safe reason and last successful time; Escape, blur, or an outside click closes it.

Stale readings without a failure say “Quota awaiting update.” Missing readings remain unknown, rejected sign-ins keep their recovery action, and a successful retry clears the warning and historical labels. The existing refresh policy, Rust state, IPC, and version files are unchanged. Design and testing documentation describe the new behavior.

Validation:

  • pnpm run ci:source frontend: 149 tests passed, TypeScript check and production build passed; version remains 1.0.21.
  • Behavioral coverage includes cached and uncached failures, authentication recovery, pending data, partial batch failure, successful retry, sanitized details, mouse/keyboard dismissal, and reopening a successful reading older than five minutes.
  • Isolated fictional-account rendering checked in English and Simplified Chinese, light and dark themes, at 1360 × 900 and the configured minimum 700 × 520. Warning details stayed within the tested windows and did not intercept other card controls.
