- Modified \`src/index.css\` to set the dark theme as the default and only theme. - Removed light theme support and \`.dark\` class selector. - Removed class-based dark mode from \`tailwind.config.ts\`. - Deleted theme and color palette management hooks (\`useTheme.ts\`, \`useColorPalette.ts\`). - Deleted color palette configuration (\`palettes.config.ts\`). - Removed custom background variants (\`BackgroundVariants.tsx\`) and simplified \`PageBackground.tsx\`. - Cleaned up the Settings UI to remove appearance customization options. - Updated \`sonner.tsx\` to hardcode the dark theme. - Updated documentation (\`FILES_FOR_DESIGN.md\`) and created \`FILES_FOR_UI.md\`. - Fixed unit tests and verified the production build. This change simplifies the application's design system by removing all support for light mode, theme switching, and custom background patterns. The app now exclusively uses the dark theme based on the original 'default' palette. All management logic (hooks, config files, and UI toggles) has been removed to reduce code complexity and improve maintainability. Documentation has been updated to reflect the new unified UI and design structure.
