Alerts in the log do not get sent to configured push notification target

running v2.28.36

i configured a self-hosted ntfy instance that passed the internal "Test" after configuring on netpulse. modified the netpulse alert settings to start showing some alerts - wifi signal is easiest but the recently fixed (thanks!) agent-down alert also didn't appear.

alerts show in the log but are never received by the ntfy push instance.

the following should probably be in a separate issue / discussion:

it would also be very useful to have a more granular configuration in the "Alerts" log:

• distinguish what gets logged in the system from what gets sent to the push notify system
• your current Urgent only / Everything / Nothing setup could possibly benefit from splitting Everything into Informational + Debug but then i'd have to define what gets assigned to each category which is a question is don't have answers to. :-)
• mainly i want useful information in the Alerts log but not have all of that information sent to my ntfy push path

Your channel was working as configured - this one is on us. Notification channels (Web Push, ntfy, Telegram, outgoing webhook) only receive alerts marked as urgent, by design; the level selector in Alerts (none / urgent / all) governs the feed only. Your wifi-signal alert, and the agent-down notice when SSH is available, are emitted as non-urgent, so they reach the log but never the channel. The test button passes because it publishes directly, bypassing that filter. And none of this was written anywhere in the UI or the README, so from your side it looked exactly like a dead channel.

#875 (merged) documents it in the ntfy and Telegram cards and in the README. If urgent-only is too restrictive for what you want to receive, follow #874: a per-channel verbosity toggle (urgent-only / everything) is the planned fix there.
