Summary

Complete ROADMAP rewrite — from backward-looking changelog to enterprise-level forward-looking roadmap.

  • Vision with 5 named consumers (wgpu, gg, ui, born-ml, Flutter embedding)
  • 4 phases to v1.0.0 (December 2026): API Stability → Test Coverage → DXIL Graduation → Hardening
  • Future Directions (post-v1.0): new frontends (SPIR-V input, GLSL input, WGSL output), tooling (source maps, LSP, minification), ecosystem integration
  • Architecture diagram updated (5 backends including DXIL)
  • Released Versions condensed to 10 key milestones
  • Non-Goals clarified (no LLVM dependency)
