Initial public release of the GreenCalculus open emission-factor dataset.

Aligned to: IPCC AR6 GWP-100 · GHG Protocol Corporate Standard

Contents

  • data/gwp-values.json — AR6 + AR5 GWP-100 values, side by side, for 16 greenhouse gases
  • data/emission-factors.json / .csv — Scope 1 fuel combustion + Scope 2 electricity grid factors across 15 countries (GCV + NCV variants where the source distinguishes them)
  • METHODOLOGY.md — full calculation methodology, formulas, and source references
  • CITATION.cff — BibTeX / APA citation metadata

Versioning — CalVer YYYY.N. A breaking change is any factor value change >5%, or any change to scope definitions, GWP basis, or calculation architecture (see CHANGELOG.md). This tag is an immutable snapshot — pin to it to reproduce historical calculations byte-for-byte.
