GridPool Blake2b for StartOS

Experimental sideload package for the activated Knots RC4 Blake2b mainnet profile. It runs a pinned sovereign GridPool reference node against a separately installed Knots RC4 service. It does not bundle Knots, DATUM, or SV2 and does not support stock SHA-256 Bitcoin Core or Knots.

The attached node must identify as Knots 29.4.1/20260508rc4 and contain the activation checkpoint at height 961640. GridPool confirms exact block candidates with that local node before rotating payment state. This preview must not import state from the SHA-256 GridPool network.

Build and sideload

Install gridpool-blake2b_<arch>.s9pk through System > Sideload Service. Install and synchronize the Blake RC4 Knots package first. Install a compatible Blake2b DATUM package as well. Then use Actions > Configure GridPool Blake2b and enter the mainnet payout address for this sovereign node.

GridPool exposes a GridPool DATUM Upstream interface on TCP 3008. Use Actions > Show DATUM Connection Key to obtain its 64-byte public key, then configure the separately installed DATUM gateway to connect to that interface. The DATUM gateway—not this package—provides the Stratum listener miners use. Configure that gateway for Blake2b, forced YUGE coinbases, worker/full-user forwarding, and pooled-only mining.

The sovereign listener has a difficulty floor of 1 and a zero-percent support template schedule. All coordinated templates use the authenticated local miner payout address for slot zero. Decisionless fallback work remains rejected.

The main volume contains the GridPool identity, paid state, payout setting, and DATUM public key. Back it up before every sideload upgrade and verify that the node-ID fingerprint is unchanged afterward. Never recover a state mismatch by deleting pool_state.json.

This repository publishes preview build artifacts only. The current preview has not been exercised on a physical Start9 server and is not a stable StartOS marketplace release.
