Content Manager G29 Settings break after any edits

Having trouble with the G29 and Content Manager, for the profile I'm using a G29 with shifter and the settings work fine, as soon as I change one setting or map a button The setup completely breaks and I can't use the wheel. I do have some mappings coming from G hub which is working fine like the arrow keys and escape etc to get in and out of asseto corsa. I'm just finding that Content Manager is breaking my settings as soon as I touch one setting the wheel set up.

I really want to get a Handbrake but I can't for the life of me work out why Content Manager won't accept any changes.

It's a probably a bit late for you by now, but here is my little setup guide for G29 (and similar) anyway.
Restart PC with wheel plugged in.
Calibrate G29 in windows device manager.
Set it up in Ghub.
Start AC with steam launcher and set up the wheel and shifter.
START A SESSION WITH STEAM LAUNCHER! Important step!
Now open game with CM and set wheel and shifter up in CM. Check back in AC settings, sometimes CM likes to change settings there, especially inverted pedals.
It should work now, even changing buttons and settings in CM only.
You can pin CM to taskbar to start a session with just one click.
