Chromium v152.0.7977.82.1 — Stealth Build (Pro)

CloakBrowser Pro — Stable advances to Chromium 152.0.7977.82.1 (Linux + Windows)

Chromium 152.0.7977.82.1 is now Stable on Linux (x64 and ARM64) and Windows (x64). This is the first Stable on Chromium 152. macOS Stable remains on 151.0.7922.108.3.

With a valid CloakBrowser key, the wrapper automatically selects the Stable build for your platform. No version pin is required.

What's new

• The newest Chromium, 152. The engine, its features, and the version it reports all step up to the current major, so you stay current with what real browsers ship.
• Windows persona, another deep pass — the fonts your browser reports now line up the same way everywhere a site can read them. Coverage is broader and more accurate, and more of your graphics and storage match real Windows hardware.
• The macOS persona on 152 — its graphics, text, and media are refreshed for the new engine. It runs on Linux and macOS only, not on Windows. Select it with --fingerprint-platform=macos, and install the Mac fonts (a persona without its fonts is one of the most common causes of blocks).
• A more reliable proxy connection — the proxy connection mode now works across more setups, and a rare connection hang is fixed. Enable it alongside your --proxy-server with --fingerprint-transparent-proxy.

Update the wrapper before launching:

Roll back if needed

If a workload regresses, pin the previous Stable build:

[0.5.10] — 2026-08-30

• [wrapper] The first-launch welcome banner no longer aborts a launch on a legacy Windows console. On a non-UTF-8 (cp1252) console its arrow and dash characters raised UnicodeEncodeError on the binary-download path, which blocked license apply and profile launch (notably in CloakBrowser Manager). The banner is now ASCII and every write is guarded, so a cosmetic message can never stop a launch. Python, JavaScript, and .NET.
• [wrapper] A requested GeoIP resolution that fails now aborts the launch instead of silently continuing on the container clock. Failure means the lookup times out, the database cannot be loaded, the lookup cannot complete, or timezone or locale stay unresolved; the default resolution timeout is raised from 5 to 20 seconds. Explicit timezone and locale overrides remain valid without an egress-IP result. Python, JavaScript, and .NET.
• [wrapper] A license key the server rejects (invalid or expired), or one that cannot be validated at all (license server unreachable with no cached result), now raises a clear error instead of silently downloading the older free binary. Passing no key still uses the free binary as before. Python, JavaScript, and .NET.
