Made changes recommended by @not-so-smart to remove tests and some unnecessary actions. Notyet sure if we still want to keep the pre-commit hooks and whatnot so I left husky and stuff alone.
This PR is a work in progress and involves a lot of chopping from the project, if stuff seems wrong or important parts are missing PLEASE let me know. I'm figuring this out has I go.
