Remove dead movie/people counters that fetched the full library and people list on every options-page mount. Unify nav glyphs and reuse the archive JoinedItem type in Home, Stats, popup, and demo helper.
Museum plaques never rendered inLibrary, so the LIBRARY_UPDATED listener and badge re-renders were wasted work. Share normalizeTitleKey between book and screen detection, and collapse redundant candidate slices.
Extract BoundedTtlCache and fetchJsonWithTimeout for TMDb, OMDb, Google Books, and Open Library. Unify message-router sendResponse paths and collapse repeated LIBRARY_UPDATED broadcasts.

Shared catalog caches and message-router sendResponse path. Offline core, export V2, and enc:v1 keys are unchanged. CI build green.
Known deviations: Open Library cache is capped at 500 entries (was unbounded). After a known handler runs, the router always returns true so Chrome keeps the message channel. Both are low impact (eviction only after 500 distinct lookups; the service worker restarts regularly).
Draft; do not merge until reviewed.
