x11configuration

Configuration of my X11 desktop with fvwm2/3

This is the configuration for a 4k display with around 290 pixels per inch. It is a 4k monitor which has only 15 inches. As such objects might look very large on your setting.

In order to get this running:

• rename Xressources to .Xressources
• rename gnuplot to .gnuplot
• rename xsession to .xsession
• rename fvwm/fvwm2rc to .fvwm/.fvwm2rc

you then need to edit the files, especilly .fvwm/.fvwm2rc and change references from /home/haschka to the location where things reside in your home directory.

Besides this the following tools might be helpful in building your desktop close to mine: doas xclock xwininfo xcompmgr xosview and mpg123 for radio stations. You also might edit references to bluetooth devices / volume controls etc to suite your needs in .fvwm2rc

You also need the terminus font, for applications that do not support fontconfig/xft.
