Error message Incorrect Type. Expected "AWS CloudFormation Serverless Application Model (SAM)"

[ech58]

Error found in template.yaml

This error just appeared after updating from 6.0.1 to 7.0.0

This is how to fix this error (in fact, this is NOT an error):

Just rename your template.yaml file into any other name (e.g. my_templates.yaml), reflect this change in the !include section of your configuration.yaml, and this error is gone for ever!

That's all!

That worked ! Thank you very much.
The cause remains a mystery, doesn't it?

This occurs because 'template.yaml' is listed in the SAM configuration so vscode use the wrong syntax checker. I cant rename the file as it is distributed via HACS and referenced in other people configuration.yaml.

How do I set the config for vscode so it does not assume any file called 'template.yaml' is an AWS SAM file?
