kokua: an R package of helpful functions and data for Hawaiian ecology and evolution

Things to include:

1. useful data objects (.Rdata) such as:
   1. outline of the Hawaiian islands
   2. table of arthropod species
   3. table of plant species
2. functions to read in larger data associated with the project:
   1. environmental data (preciptation, temperature, wind, cloud cover)
   2. topo data
   3. flow age data
3. functions to standardize color schemes for plotting (e.g. age gradient)
