👋 Hi, I’m Hayden

I’m a Data Engineer at BambooHR focused on building reliable data platforms and turning messy data into trusted, usable data.

I hold a B.S. in Management Information Systems and an M.S. in Data Analytics from Utah State University, combining strong business context with hands-on technical execution.

💼 What I Do

  • Build and maintain ETL pipelines and data platform infrastructure
  • Automate pipelines to improve reliability and scalability
  • Support data governance and data quality across analytics use cases
  • Design data models that make analytics faster and more trustworthy

🧠 Background

Before working in industry, I was the Department Head of Data Analytics at Bridgerland Technical College, where I:

  • Built a data analytics program from the ground up
  • Created 500+ hours of hands-on curriculum
  • Helped ~50 students learn Python, spreadsheets, Tableau, Power BI, and modern analytics workflows

Teaching sharpened my ability to explain complex systems clearly and build practical, real-world solutions.
