Solution for LA Blueprint's Onboarding project.

Purpose

An innovative social media app similar to Twitter.

Setup

Create the frontend as a React app using npx create-react-app client.

Install the packages npm i axios @mui/material @emotion/react @emotion/styled @mui/icons-material.

Create the backend as an Express, Node.js server using mkdir server cd server npm init.

Install the packages npm i express mongoose body-parser cors config as well as npm i -D nodemon.

Install npm i eslint --save-dev for both folders and use npx eslint --init to create the eslint file.

Running

First, you must create a .env file in server and set the variables PORT and URI. The latter is MongoDB's credentials to access your cluster.

To run the frontend, cd client npm start.

To run the backend, cd server npm start.
