Frannie Murphy, a former undergraduate researcher at the GRE Lab, generated a comprehensive imageJ macros script that is efficient at image segmentation of budded and unbudded yeast cells obtained via microscopy imaging. The goal now is to expand on the capabilities of the macros script by refining a classification model via an interpretable decision tree.
This project will follow the development of this machine learning algorithm.
This is in collaboration with Dr. Bin He, Jessica miller, and Frannie Miller.
